Overview
The Engineering Media Resource Center serves as the media division of the Business
and Engineering Graduate Outreach Program and Continuing Education. The center
provides studio and field video recording, editing, dubbing to VHS, video CD and
DVD, posting class notes on WebCT, and shipping of videos and handout materials
for all courses in the outreach program. The center also makes short video promotional
pieces for the College of Engineering. The center's current videotape and DVD
delivery system of 56 courses delivered to 523 students makes it one of the largest
programs of its kind in the country. The center is also currently testing the
delivery of courses on the Internet via streaming media.
