Matching Gifts

Increase the power of your gift!

Many companies encourage their employees to participate in philanthropy by matching or even tripling contributions. Some companies continue this practice even after a donor is retired. To find out if you work for a company that matches gifts, check your company Web site or human resources office, or check this matching gifts Web site.

Keep in mind that more than one match may be possible. Membership on the board of a company may allow a match. Sometimes your spouse's employer will also match the gift.
