Leadership Gifts
Some donors choose to establish significant outright gifts with the understanding
that the gift will be spent over a designated time period to accomplish the objectives
specified by the donor to benefit the Samuel Ginn College of Engineering. Outright
major investments in the college are catalysts for growth have the immediate power
to transform an existing program or initiate a new one. They are critical to advancing
the college's vision.
Samuel Ginn's recent gift of $25 million opened the door for the development
of a new academic program - an undergraduate degree in wireless engineering -
as well as program enhancements in many other areas of the college.
