Paving the Way
Phase I of the new Sen. Richard C. and Dr. Annette N. Shelby Center for Engineering Technology is complete; construction of Phase II is well under way and slated for completion in Fall 2011. These buildings will provide the facilities necessary to expand our research efforts while ensuring that our instructional programs remain among the best in the nation.
As an alumnus or friend of the Samuel Ginn College of Engineering, you are invited to add your name to the Shelby Center porticos. Your gift will not only support the vision of the college, but will also serve a visual reminder of your commitment to Auburn Engineering.
The lovely arched porticos that ring the central commons are among the most beautiful features of the Shelby complex, providing protected walkways, gathering space and a transition from the building's interiors.
