Startup Packages for New Faculty

All newly established start-up packages will be for a period of three years. Start up requests plus equipment lists must be submitted to the Office of the Provost attached to a draft of the candidate's offer letter and before PROV100 Part B is approved. Research equipment (within reason) will be funded one third by the OVPR/Provost Offices, one third by the College and one third by the Department. Note: An audit will be performed at the end of the three-year period to ensure that equipment funds were utilized for equipment as planned. If that was not the case, the department will reimburse the college for the amount that was expended on other items.
