Call for Applications for 2008-2009
Community Foundation of Greater Birmingham - Seeds of Love Scholarship
The AT&T Minority Engineering Program administers the Seeds of Love/Willie
T. Grant Annual Scholarship Award to be awarded to a student in the Minority Engineering
Program in fall 2008. The amount of the award is $1,000.
Applications are now sought for the 2008-2009 academic year.
Requirements:
- Full time Auburn University student (12 hours or more)
- Minimum ACT score of 24
- Minimum undergraduate or high school GPA of 3.0
- Enrolled in the Samuel Ginn College of Engineering-AT&T Minority Engineering
Program or a graduating high school senior
- Preference will be given to applicants from the Birmingham area
The applicant must submit the following:
- Completed application form: Application Form
(fillable PDF form)
- One-page summary that includes information on your involvement in minority-related
activities, special accomplishments and career goals
- High school applicants must provide a letter of reference, in a sealed envelope,
from the coordinator of minority activities describing your involvement
- Current AT&T Minority Engineering Program applicants must provide a letter
of reference from an Auburn University faculty, administrator, or organization
advisor
