Call For ParticipationThe oldest continuously running annual conference of the ACM invites papers in all areas of computer science. ACMSE provides an excellent forum for both faculty and students to present their research in a friendly and dynamic atmosphere. Please consider submitting an original contribution in one of the categories described below. All submissions will be peer-reviewed. Conference Proceedings will include regular papers, student papers, work in progress papers, and extended abstracts of posters, workshops, and tutorials. ALL DUE DATES HAVE BEEN CHANGED TO: January 14, 2008. Regular PapersRegular papers must describe original, previously unpublished work and may be up to 6 pages in length. Authors must submit two versions of their paper: a publication version (with author/institution information) and an anonymous version (with all identifying references removed). All submissions will be subject to blind review of the anonymous version of the paper. Accepted papers will be presented at the conference, included in the conference proceedings, and will be considered for the Best Paper award. Due Date: January 14, 2008. Student PapersStudent papers must describe original, previously unpublished work and may be up to 6 pages in length. Students must be the sole authors of submissions in this category. Students must submit two versions of their paper: a publication version (with author/institution information) and an anonymous version (with all identifying references removed). Faculty PostersFaculty posters present an overview of already developed research or a work in progress. Submissions in this category are extended abstracts limited to two pages in length and will be reviewed by the Program Committee. Accepted abstracts will be presented in a poster format and included in the conference proceedings. Due Date: January 14, 2008. Student PostersStudents (as sole authors) may submit an extended abstract describing their current research activity. Submissions in this category are limited to two pages in length and will be reviewed by the Program Committee. Accepted abstracts will be presented in a poster format, included in the conference proceedings, and will be considered for the Best Student Poster award.Due Date: January 14, 2008. Tutorials/WorkshopsTutorials and workshops provide an in-depth coverage of introductory or advanced topics. Workshops should be participatory in nature. Proposals for tutorials or workshops should include a title, abstract, statement of purpose, objectives, prerequisites, intended audience, duration (1.5 or 3 hours), materials needed (including computers), and resources to be handed out.
