Ramsay Hall

Ramsay Hall 2Constructed: 1925
Location: 261 West Magnolia Avenue
Primary use: Engineering Graduate Outreach Program, Engineering Continuing Education, Engineering Duplication, Classrooms

The construction of Ramsay Hall was initiated by a gift of $100,000 from Birmingham Industrialist Erskine Ramsay. At the time, Ramsay's gift was the single largest contribution to the Greater Auburn Fund and was made with the understanding that it would be applied toward the construction of a new engineering building. This landmark houses classrooms and the offices for engineering administration.
