Effective fall, 2006, the Polymer and Fiber Engineering undergraduate degree offers two
options, polymer and fiber. The polymer option emphasizes polymer characterization,
processing, and chemistry. The fiber option emphasizes mechanics, composite materials
and other fibrous structures.
Two graduate degrees are offered, the M.S. in Polymer and Fiber Engineering and Ph.D. in Integrated Textile and Apparel Science, jointly administered with the Department of Consumer Affairs.
