Master of Science Degree

• Requires a minimum of 6 semester hours of Thesis (CIVL 7990) and 24 semester hours of graduate course work other than CIVL 7990.
• At least one-half of the required credit must be at the 6000 level or above.
• The specific plan of study must be approved by the student's advisory committee.
• Completion and defense of a thesis.
• Must pass an on-campus comprehensive oral examination covering course work and the thesis.
• No language requirement
• One semester study in residence.
• Special requirements for persons holding college degrees in fields other than Civil Engineering: Environmental Engineering Program
