Precision Forestry
We have defined Precision Forestry as "Planning and conducting site-specific forest management activities and operations to improve wood product quality and utilization, reduce waste, and increase profits, and maintain the quality of the environment." We have identified three areas of focus

- Management Planning-using geospatial-information to assist forest management and planning
- Site-Specific Silvicultural operations
- Advanced Technologies-coordinated harvesting, product evaluation, and transportation systems
