 Essentials of Quality System Auditing provides insights and practical examples of the auditing process. It is based on the international Quality Management System (QMS) auditing standard, ISO 19011. This course will help you fulfill the requirements to be an internal QMS auditor in your company. When combined with the Tips for Auditing course and the courses on understanding ISO 9001, IATF 16949 or AS 9100 you may fulfill all or most of the requirements to be an internal QMS auditor for your company. In any case this course will provide you with information to help you be more effective in your technical, quality or management role.

Pre-Requisite: None. However, an understanding of ISO 9001:2015 (AU course V16N) or one of the other quality management standards would be helpful.

The instructor for Essentials of Quality System Auditing, Davis Woodruff, has over three decades of real world experience with clients on 3 continents and in 35 states. He uses a practical approach based on experience, research and education. He has been providing guidance and assistance to companies implementing ISO 9001 quality systems since the original standard was approved in 1987. He is a member of the U.S. Technical Advisory Group (TAG) 176 which assists in formulating the U.S. position to the International Organization for Standards (ISO) on the ISO 9000 family of standards.
