Steven M. Fox, design judge for Formula SAE, will present "Those Who Cannot Remember the Past are Condemned to Repeat It" on Saturday, Nov. 14, at 10 a.m. in 136 Ross Hall. Fox's presentation is specifically targeted towards SAE student design teams who want to build a better car. His lecture covers aspects of improving racecar design, development and manufacturing.
Fox is currently the president and director of engineering for PowerTrain Technology, Inc., an innovative manufacturing company that specializes in lightweight, low-inertia drive train products for motorsports. He was previously the engineering director for Quarter Master Industries, where he was a design engineer responsible for all new product design, development and manufacturing. Fox's motorsports career spans nearly 40 years and includes work with NASCAR and design judging for Formula SAE competitions.
