FAQ Section
- Handling DVDs - Do not touch the surface of the DVD, Handle it with the edges of the disk
and store it in the original case.
- Ejecting DVDs - Stop the DVD before ejecting it from the player. Failure to do so could cause
damage to the disk.
- Multiple DVDs - If you are having problems with some of your DVDs playing and stopping, or
starting in the wrong place, or other problems with playback, you may have a programming
glitch in your player. If it's a DVD player for your TV, shut it off and turn
it back on. If it's in your computer, close and re-open your player. Sometimes
clicking on "stop" twice will solve this problem, too. This problem is caused
by the memory in the player remembering your previous disk and how you played
and stopped it.
- Recommended Player - Choose a DVD player for your TV or computer that handles DVD-R disks. If
you are buying a player, take one of our disks with you and make sure the player
will run it.
- DVD-R - Check your user manual to determine if the DVD-R format is supported by your
player
- Macs / Linux - are currently not supported for streaming video. The DVDs will play in them.
- Wireless - If you are having trouble streaming the video over a wireless connection please
contact your wireless provider for assistance. Please be aware that many wireless
service providers do not allow streaming video.
- Starting the DVD - Some of our DVD videos have an opening menu that contains "bars" on the startup
screen. Click on the topmost bar to start the DVD. It will turn from blue to
yellow when you put your cursor on it.
