Online Exam Helpful Hints

Your Student ID number for accessing the Engineering Continuing Education website was emailed to you when your order was placed. The ID number is shown on your confirmation email (ex. XW0012345). 

Your order will be shipped from our office via UPS within 3 to 5 business days, unless rush delivery has been requested. Your package will include your DVDs and course materials along with detailed instructions on accessing the AU Blackboard site in which your access will be available within 24 hours. On this site you will have access to view, print and complete your exam. Once you have completed the exam online and submitted it, you will receive an email within minutes allowing you to see your results. A certificate of completion from our office will follow by US Postal Service within 10 business days.
Following the steps below will allow you to access your course information.
  • Go to http://blackboard.auburn.edu
  • Select Open Blackboard at Auburn University
  • Select Log In
  • Your permanent username and initial password are ECE_XXXXX plus last 5 digits of your Student ID #
  • At the prompt you will be instructed to change your password
  • You will then be logged out and will need to log in again using your permanent username and new password
