LS = 16 Bienneal
Once every 4 years, 4 hours in Standards of Practice/Ethics/Code of Conduct required and counts as part of 8 hours annual requirement.

PE = 30 hours biennial
PE = Licenses with last name beginning with L-Z, on their June 30,2010 renewal will verify compliance for calender years 2008 and 2009. For A-K, must comply with 30 hours in calender years 2009 and 2010 for June 30th, 2011 renewal. Engineers with License before 1972 are exempt from the CELL requirement provided continuously licensed and no disciplinary actions.
The Kentucky Board may award a greater number of PDHs for an Auburn courses than listed on a Certificate of Completion. The Board rounds up any time over 50 minutes to another hour. Licensees will need to contact the Board and/or refer to http://www.lrc.ky.gov/KRS/321-00/CHAPTER.HTM.

Every Professional Land Surveyor registrant shall be required to obtain two PDH units of Minimum Standards training during three renewal periods. **Please Note: Land Surveyors can take any Minimum Standards course(s) from the following states: Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia and Louisiana.

36 = Dual PE/LS

The New Jersery Board of Engineers and Land Surveyors has approved Auburn University's Engineering Continuing Education land surveying courses and has determined that one-half the average completion time calculated by the provider will be given for correspondance courses.  Ex: Course hours = 3 New Jersery will accept 1.5 hours.

TEXAS BOARD LAND SURVEYORS

Auburn courses are accepted based on Rule 664.5 (4)
“Programs preapproved by registration boards of other jurisdictions will be
accepted by this board at the same continuing education unit value assigned by
the other board unless such program has been specifically disallowed by this
board.”

Effective January 2011 and every year thereafter, a minimum of 3 hours of the 12 hours shall be on the Act, Rules, and/or ethics.
Auburn offers courses on ethics but not Act and Rules for Texas.
