The Samuel Ginn College of Engineering has developed a multi-million dollar master facilities plan to be implemented over the next 15 years.
The renovation of Wilmore Labs was the first of three near-term building initiatives that are vital to advancing our vision; the renovation of Ross Hall was the second. The benefits of these projects are already evident -- increased ability to recruit top faculty and students, and an expansion of research programs into areas such as nanotechnology, alternative energy and food safety.
The construction of Phase I of the new Sen. Richard C. and Annette N. Shelby Center for Engineering Technology is well under way.
We invite you to partner with us to ensure that the final component of this plan advances on schedule. The flexible research and instructional space in Phase II of the Shelby Center is essential to the enhancement of our research and graduate programs, as well as our undergraduate student project programs. This growth is an absolute must if we are to remain competitive and relevant.
There are numerous opportunities to recognize and pay tribute to people and programs with these projects.
