Reserving Space in the Shelby Center

The Samuel Ginn College of Engineering makes areas of the Shelby Center for Engineering Technology available for groups associated with Auburn University. Their use is free and based on availability. A reservation is required.

• Tom and Bettye Lowe Grand Foyer and Marjorie and Richard Quina Atrium
• O. William Bynum Gallery/Oliver D. Kingsley, Jr. and Sally Y. Kingsley Portico and Courtyard
• Dynetics Student Gallery/Lavon and Nancy Jordan Portico and Courtyard
• Auditorium (outside of normal classroom hours)
• Classrooms (outside of normal classroom hours)

Food and beverages may be served in the first four areas, however no kitchen is available for food preparation. No food is allowed in the auditorium or classrooms.

All users will be responsible for arranging for:

• clean up of the area during and after use
• security during the event
• AU tent and sound permits (if applicable)

Units outside of the College of Engineering must provide a FOAP before reservations can be confirmed. No charges will be made against this account unless the room or surrounding areas are damaged during use.

Monday - Thursday

• West/East Wings 6 a.m. - 6 p.m. (Swipe access after hours)
• Central Building 6 a.m. - 9 p.m. (Swipe access after hours)

Friday 6 a.m. - 6 p.m. (Swipe access after hours)
