L-Building

Constructed: 1923
Location: 152 Wilmore Drive
Primary use: Photographic Services, Information Technology User Services, Digital Repair, Engineering Network Services.

This landmark of the engineering quad was constructed in 1923 with donated materials, borrowed equipment and $1,500 in cash contributed by faculty and staff. Like the engineering shop buildings, L-building serves many purposes, including workspace for the Departments of Aerospace, Chemical, and Mechanical Engineering, as well as housing a student computer lab.
