Auburn Engineering Short Circuit 5K
Race course: A 5K (3.1 mile) course around the Auburn University campus
When: Saturday, March 31, 2012
Where: Auburn University
Concourse between the Lowder Business Building and the Shelby Center for Engineering Technology, just off Magnolia Ave.
Times:
- Race Start 8:00 a.m.
- Registration 7:00 a.m. - 7:45 a.m.
Features: Every registration packet includes a t-shirt, and entry into the raffle for a chance to win a two night all inclusive gulf coast luxury resort package, and other prizes. Day-of race T-shirts will be availble while supplies last.
Entry:
- Pre-registration: $20 (postmarked by March 21)
- Day-of-race: $25
Awards: Awards will be given to the top three males/female finishers in each category: Undergraduate, Graduate, Faculty/Staff, and Open.
Proceeds to benefit the Auburn chapter of Engineers Without Borders (EWB). EWB has made a commitment to the village of Quesimpuco, Bolivia to improve the lives of its people through various infrastructural projects. Funding raised will help to make these projects a reality.
